A complex of 38 space stations in orbit of the planet Brooklyn.
It's stations were built around the central personnel base where embarking or disembarking crews, housing for the engineers and shipwrights and equipment depot. It was surrounded by shipyards where new vessels were built, the repair slips where their battle damaged vessels were overhauled, to the reclamation facilities older crafts were decommissioned.
All of the facilities at the Brooklyn Naval Yards take their names from neighborhoods in the borough of Brooklyn, New York.
