Born in 2816 to Rhys Yamato and Maria Chaplan on Manhattan. He married Famke Rotmensen and was the father of Rigoberto Yamato. He passed away in 2900 at age 84.
Rikuto was a general during the attempted Nikanorova Insurrection of 2881, when the colony of Nikanorova illegal attempted to seceed from the Republic. He was quoted as saying during the Battle of New Katherine:
